PRO-MIC Measures Thickness Variation...

Measure Gamma of Cold Rolled Motor Lamination Sheet

Strip/Plate Profile Measurement of the thickness variation ( gamma ) of flat  material

Typical applications include rolled or cast steel, aluminum, lead, brass or plastic, cold rolled motor lamination sheet among others.

The PRO-MIC Strip Profiling Workstation is used to measure the thickness variation of flat material.  The Workstation uses hydraulic clamping and a precision linear slide to move the measurement head while logging data up to 10x per inch of travel.

Basic Systems use manual (hand) movement of the measurement head along the precision rail and manual (hand) adjustment of the measurement probes.

Automation of the probe adjustment and linear movement of the measurement head is available using ball screw driven slide mechanisms.

The full system can also be PC driven for automation; useful when operator training is minimized.
